Relatech is participating in DRUPE (Decision support system based on in-situ and aeRial spectroscopy and distribUted network of heterogeneous sensors for the Production of olivEs), a project co-financed by the European Union - European Regional Development Fund POR FESR Liguria 2021-2027, Action 1.1.1, which aims to introduce Industry 4.0 technologies and methods into the operational context of an olive grove.

The project involves a group of companies that includes, in addition to Relatech, SITEM (coordinator), CerSAA, FlairBit, BEES, Genoa Instruments, and Globi Hi-Tech, with the support of the CNR Genoa Area. The scientific direction is entrusted to Dr. Federico Tinivella (CerSAA).

DRUPE aims to meet the needs outlined in the Liguria Region's Olive and Olive Oil Sector Plan. Its primary objective is to create a tool to optimize resources for a sustainable and climate-resilient future olive growing industry, employing machine learning algorithms, artificial intelligence, and predictive analytics.

Within the project, Relatech collaborates on defining user services and designs a Data Analytics Engine to analyze plant stress conditions and identify correlations between data from various sensory sources. Relatech also plays a key role in promoting the project, maintaining stakeholder relationships and ensuring effective and strategic communication.
