Relatech successfully participated in SPS Italia 2025, held in Parma from May 13th to 15th, previewing its first agentic AI platform, "AI in Action". This innovative solution represents a significant evolution compared to the previous "Applied AI" model based on RexAI (presented at SPS 2024), offering artificial intelligence capable of continuous and interactive dialogue in natural language with machinery and production processes, thus improving human-machine interaction in industry.
Relatech presented the "AI in Action" demo, an immersive simulation of a cherry jam production line. The demo virtually reconstructs a food company's production process, from pasteurization to final quality control, demonstrating in a practical yet pragmatic and realistic way how AI in Action improves operator performance and industrial machinery management through three use cases:
1. Conversational "Machine Log" Management: AI allows you to collect and standardize operators' voice statements to create an interactive, unique, and easily accessible historical memory to optimize production processes.
2. Manual consultation and AI-driven technical assistance: operators can query the machine, which, based on technical manuals and operational documentation, provides precise and contextualized answers that improve over time as a result of continuous learning.
3. Machine data querying and performance analysis: AI allows you to query machinery status, production parameters, and performance using natural language. An advanced Speech-to-Text-to-Query system provides real-time operational data and analysis.
The SPS demonstration is entirely powered by Microsoft technologies, specifically the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, thanks to the strategic collaboration for Artificial Intelligence and data recently signed by Relatech with the Redmond company. Among the highlights of this year's SPS is booth B004 – Hall 4 at the Focus AI event, created in collaboration with Microsoft.
